The Challenge: Every day at midnight Eastern Time, a new word is chosen, marking the beginning of your daily mission.

Word Guessing: Your task is to guess the secret word in just six attempts. The excitement builds with each guess as you inch closer to unraveling the mystery word.

Color-Coded Feedback: After each guess, "WordPlay" provides crucial feedback through color-coded tiles, guiding you toward the correct word:

  • GREEN: The letter S is in the word and in the correct spot.
  • YELLOW: The letter U is in the word but occupies a different position.
  • GRAY: The letter O is not part of the word in any position.

Placeholder Convenience: Uncertain about a letter? Press the spacebar to insert a placeholder and maintain your guessing momentum.

Tips for Success:

  • Start with Common Letters: Begin your guessing with letters that frequently appear in words, such as vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and common consonants (T, N, R, S). This strategy can help you gather information quickly.

  • Analyze Color Changes: Pay close attention to the color-coded feedback provided after each guess. Use it to refine your subsequent guesses. Green letters in the correct spot are golden clues.

  • Experiment with Word Variations: Play with different word combinations that include the revealed letters. Test variations to uncover the correct arrangement.

  • Mind Your Guess Count: You have six attempts, so use them wisely. Don't rush your guesses; take time to analyze the feedback and make informed choices.

  • Think Beyond the Obvious: While common words are a good starting point, consider less common words that could fit the available information.
